Mount Pleasant Home has planned a renovation and addition to its facilities with the intention of using green design, sustainable technology and renewable energy to the fullest extent possible. Urban Medical Group, a community based medical facility, will share space in the addition. Fore Solutions contributed to a comprehensive feasibility study of renewable energy and energy efficiency options undertaken by Next Phase Studios for the project. The analysis conducted for the report recommended a range of measures including rainwater collection for irrigation and non-potable water use, lighting controls, solar photovoltaics, solar domestic hot water, ventilation heat recovery and LEED^TM tracking and documentation.
