The Parley Avenue Home was the first home in Boston to earn LEED for Homes Certification. A two-family residence destroyed by fire was demolished and replaced with a smaller, two-family, affordable housing project designed by Saslaw Associates, Inc. The project was compact in square footage and was on an infill lot.  A high efficiency heating system and a super-insulated envelope allowed the project to achieve a 57 HERS rating, while the building is PV-ready when money permits. Fore Solutions was the LEED for Homes Provider.
